Licensed Practical Nurse Services

Sterling offers Licensed Practical Nurse Services that includes the services of full scope LPNs who are fully qualified and trained through a recognized nursing program and certified by their licensing body, CLPNBC.  Each LPN is fully trained, certified and capable of providing full scope nursing practice services. Under the clinical direction of the RN and Director of Care, the LPN leads a team of RCAs that oversee the unique daily activities and routine that is prescribed each day for each resident.

The LPN’s daily responsibilities include ensuring that the Individual Resident’s Care Plan is up to date, and reporting on progress and/or changes that are initiated by the support team or the physician.   All of our LPN’s are fully trained and capable of performing the full range of nursing procedures that would include; administrating oral and topic medication, taking vital signs, assessing resident head-to-toe, carrying out glucometer readings, oxygen therapy, participating in resident care conferences, and communicating with the family members and multi-disciplinary team members on a daily basis.
